About the Event

Dr. Omar Mohtar created ParaDocs Health to diagnose healthcare system inefficiencies and treat with RPA solutions to maximize patient outcomes and minimize costs. He aims to simplify the value-based care experience for providers by automating non-clinical task documentation, freeing them up to 10 hours of administrative work per week. Empowering healthcare professionals with confident clinical decision making, by streamlining clinical notes for transparent feedback through an intuitive, provider-tailored interface.

Dr. Mohtar’s journey started in Boston where over 50% of providers’ time is spent on administrative tasks, impacting patient outcomes and worsening burnout. ParaDocs Health is on a mission to give Providers back their passion through a platform designed to alleviate the administrative burden from assessment, to treatment, to reimbursement. Today, he is looking for healthcare professionals to embark on the care experience revolution and reawaken the dream.

About the Speaker

Dr. Omar Mohtar, MD Ph.D., Founder ParaDoc Health

Dr. Omar Mohtar, the driving force behind ParaDocs Health, graduated from Boston University School of Medicine as a distinguished physician-scientist. His groundbreaking dissertation on leptin’s long-term effects on weight gain earned the prestigious editorial award from Cell Signaling. However, it was the frustrating inefficiencies he observed in clinical settings, where healthcare providers often grappled with cumbersome documentation over direct patient care, that ignited his entrepreneurial flame. This spurred his enrollment in the Texas Medical Center Innovation’s Biodesign program. There, he immersed himself in comprehensive stakeholder surveys, gaining a nuanced understanding of the healthcare landscape and the transformative potential of technology therein.

But Dr. Mohtar’s pursuits aren’t limited to innovation alone; he’s a beacon of education. Highlighted at the Weill Cornell Primary Care Innovation Symposium, his work on clinical workflow automation is pioneering a new age in healthcare. Beyond that, he’s architected summer programs introducing medical students to the critical role of AI in medicine. Through seminars and mentoring, Omar consistently exemplifies his unwavering commitment to elevating healthcare and mentoring its future leaders.
