Abstract:

Bluware Distributed Compute is a cloud native HPC framework which can orchestrate interactive as well as batch HPC workflows. The framework uses an intelligent load balancer for dynamic scalability and cost optimization. The framework also provides an extensible platform where new workflows can be deployed and discovered. Here we present the key architectural characteristics of the intelligent load balancer which dynamically increases and decreases compute nodes based on user requests and availability of the provisioned compute resources.
