Abstract:

In this talk we present a Repsol’s cloud-based seismic interpretation platform. With this platform, Repsol’s interpreters can easily perform a seismic express interpretation in only a few hours from any location. The express interpretation includes extraction of many seismic objects such as faults planes, horizon surfaces, horizons truncated and salt top boundaries. Repsol’s platform combines deterministic and machine learning techniques. Our results shows the impact of this platform ability to reduce the time cycle of all exploration projects.
