Abstract:

Recent technology advances in cloud infrastructure are allowing for a re-imagining of HPC workflows. Dr. Tadepalli will talk about the impact of these changes in core compute, storage, network and edge technologies as they apply to seismic processing/reservoir simulation workloads and review new techniques applicable to traditional HPC derived from Weather Forecasting,  Autonomous Computing, and Financial Service Risk analysis workloads that utilize Serverless, containerization and auto scaling to push the limits of HPC performance. 

 

Speaker Bio:

Srinivas Tadepalli,  Ph.D., MBA
WW Business Development, High Performance Computing (HPC), AWS

Dr. Srinivas Tadepalli currently works as a business development and go-to-market strategy leader at AWS within the High Performance Computing team. He has extensive experience in developing commercial HPC applications that are used across a variety of industries and workloads. He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics and BioMedical Engineering.
