The Society of HPC Professionals (SHPCP) -- invites you to attend:
A Lunch & Learn Round Table Discussion Meeting
Cybersecurity – It’s Not Just for System Administrators
Nick Schacht – CEO, KnowCyber
All too often, cybersecurity is relegated to the IT staff as the sole responsibility for those who feed and care for an organization’s IT infrastructure. Nothing could be more wrong. In this Lunch and Learn session, we’ll explore the ever-changing world of cybersecurity. We’ll look at the evolving nature and current state of the cybersecurity ecosphere, and discuss some of today’s technical, management and organizational trends toward improving overall cybersecurity. We’ll focus particularly on the human element in cybersecurity – exploring how effective cybersecurity relies on the efforts of every individual across the organization and how, without that emphasis, even the best IT systems and controls are doomed to fail. And finally, we’ll explore the emerging role of high performance computing as a key element of cybersecurity prevention, prescription, and remediation.
